FULL TIME BILINGUAL VICTIM RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR/ CASE MANAGER
The Residential Counselor/ Case Manager will carry out intakes and provide individual and group counseling to adult victims of domestic violence. They are responsible for coordinating the provision of other services with case management staff and service providers. Works closely with the victim residential team to develop and implement services within the program. Works within the community, as needed, to gain resources and knowledge in order to assist victims.
A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field; Individual and group counseling experience; Experience with crisis intervention with victims of domestic violence; Effective communication skills, both oral and written; Team player; Success with program development; Extensive knowledge of domestic violence. Bilingual required (English/Spanish). Computer skills are required, including ability to work with database systems. Required to be on-call, as needed, so flexibility is a must.

FULL TIME VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, cultivation, training and retention of agency volunteers. They will engage these volunteers, including individuals, faith-based organizations, community groups, corporations and universities, in supporting the mission of New Beginning Center. This position is also responsible for organizing in-kind donations. They will facilitate the volunteer orientations and trainings and implement the daily operations of the Volunteer Program. Responsible for recruiting new volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will also develop and maintain positive relationships with agency program managers to accurately ascertain the need for volunteers and volunteer training/scheduling. Maintain proper volunteer tracking and reporting necessary to meet the centers best practice standards. This a full time, 40 hours per week position. This position reports directly to the CEO.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required; Experience in volunteer coordination preferred; Excellent interpersonal skills; Experience in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel is required; Valid Texas Driver’s License and clear driving record; Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plus.
