PRN/Relief Residential Victim Advocate
The Residential Victim Advocate will conduct client intakes and provide case management and psycho-educational group services to victims of domestic violence. The Victim Advocate will also educate clients on life skills and collaborate closely with the community and other agencies, and all other duties as assigned.
A Bachelors Degree in psychology, social work or related field; Experience with crisis intervention with victims of domestic violence; Effective communication skills, both oral and written; Team player; Success with program development; Extensive knowledge of domestic violence preferred. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish). Computer skills are required, including ability to work with database systems. The position will be required to work some weekends and holidays, in addition to assigned shifts. Required to cover additional shifts and be on-call, as needed, so flexibility is a must.
